The family photo
The picture you want them added to.
Photos of your loved one
A clear photo of their face. Two or three photos help.
Anything we should know?
You can leave this empty.
Free to try. You only pay if you want to keep the full-size picture.
How do I add a person to my photo?
- Upload the photo you want them added to.
- Add one to three photos of the person. A clear face works best.
- Say where they should stand: "next to the girl in the red coat".
- Look at the free preview, then keep the full-size picture if you like it.
What is free, and what costs money?
Your first previews are free. The first needs no sign-in, and your email gets you two more. They carry a watermark. To keep the clean, full-size picture you pay from $6.99, or $14.99 for five.
This works for people who are alive too. A friend who was sick on the day, a cousin overseas, a child who wandered off. It also works for people who have passed away.
Photo tips
- For the person you are adding, pick a photo where their face is clear and well lit. Looking toward the camera works best.
- Two or three photos of them from different days help the picture look more like them.
- Old, faded or black-and-white photos are fine. The finished picture is in colour to match your family photo.
- For the family photo, leave a little room where they would naturally stand or sit.
