Anything we should know?

You can leave this empty.

Free to try. You only pay if you want to keep the full-size picture.

Who people add, and when

  • A parent at a wedding, standing beside the bride or groom
  • A grandparent at Christmas, a graduation or a new baby’s first photo
  • A brother or sister in the family photo they missed
  • A dog or cat back on the sofa or the blanket

Is it free? Is there an app?

There is no app to download. It works in the browser on your phone or computer. Your first previews are free, and they carry a small watermark.

If you love the result, keeping the full-size picture without the watermark costs from $6.99. It is sharp enough for an 8x10 print. You pay for the picture you keep, not for trying.

Photo tips

  • For the person you are adding, pick a photo where their face is clear and well lit. Looking toward the camera works best.
  • Two or three photos of them from different days help the picture look more like them.
  • Old, faded or black-and-white photos are fine. The finished picture is in colour to match your family photo.
  • For the family photo, leave a little room where they would naturally stand or sit.

Questions

Can I add someone to a photo for free?

You can try for free. The preview is free, with a watermark across it. The clean, full-size picture is the part you pay for, from $6.99.

Do I need to sign up to try it?

No. Your first preview needs no sign-in. Your email gets you two more, and you need an account to keep a picture.

Does everyone else in the photo stay the same?

Yes. No one else in the picture is changed. We only add the one person you chose.
