How to make a memorial family portrait

  • Upload one photo of each person. Two to five people or pets.
  • Optional: add a note, for example "on the sofa at home".
  • See your free preview.
  • Keep the full-size picture from $6.99 if it feels right.

What the portrait looks like

It looks like an ordinary family photograph. We do not add glow, wings or a faded look. Everyone is shown as themselves.

The result is a new picture made from your photos. It is not a record of a moment that happened.

Photo tips

  • Use one clear photo of each person, with the face easy to see. Crop other people out first.
  • A photo where they look toward the camera gives the closest likeness.
  • Old prints are fine. Photograph them with your phone in good light.

Questions

Can I include more than one person who passed?

Yes. Each photo can be anyone, up to five in all.

Does it look like each person?

We aim to keep each face, age, hair and build from the photo you gave. Clear photos give the closest likeness.

Can I add a pet?

Yes. A pet counts as one of the photos.
