Where one family photo can go
- On the memorial table, in a simple frame.
- In the middle of a photo board or collage, with the single pictures around it.
- On the front of the program or order of service.
- On a slideshow, as the last picture.
How long does it take?
You get a preview in about a minute. If you need it for a service in a few days, you can have the full-size picture the same day and take it to a print shop.
We do not print or ship anything. Save the picture and print it at any shop or on a home printer. An 8x10 print is sharp. Allow a day or two for the print shop.
Making a memorial photo collage
If you are building a collage, make this picture first. Then add the single photos of your loved one around it in any collage app or at the print shop.
Photo tips
- For the person you are adding, pick a photo where their face is clear and well lit. Looking toward the camera works best.
- Two or three photos of them from different days help the picture look more like them.
- Old, faded or black-and-white photos are fine. The finished picture is in colour to match your family photo.
- For the family photo, leave a little room where they would naturally stand or sit.
Questions
Is it too much to show at a funeral?
That is for the family to decide. Some people like it on the table for quiet moments. Others keep it for after the service, as a gift to a parent or sibling.
Can I add them to a photo from a past holiday?
Yes. Any group photo works, from last year or ten years ago. The people already in it are not changed.
What if I need more than one copy?
Print as many copies as you like of each picture you keep. If you want several different pictures, the 5-picture pack is $14.99 and the 15-picture pack is $29.99.
